Scrubbers
APPLICATION
SEPU Scrubbers are static devices operating by gravity and equipped with suction enabling them to remove light waste from a grain flow: dust, shells, chaff, broken grains, etc.
The SEPU Type D Scrubber is typically used at the beginning of the cycle (it operates autonomously) and allows for preliminary cleaning.
It is equipped with a rotary feeder, an adjustable suction shaft, an expansion chamber (where heavier waste is collected) and a suction hood.
OPERATION
Scrubbers have a rotary distributor that distributes the product in an even layer. Air is sent through the layer and captures impurities. Heavier waste is sent to the expansion chamber where it falls to the bottom and is extracted by a worm screw. Lighter waste is extracted by suction.
